Grass grew and we had a dry patch of weather.
The poultry got released from their lockdown.
The trip to bring in the next batch of foundation goats happened – Gordon and I went to Boscadjack to collect two and to Holsworthy to collect another two. So now the kid total is six – the two homebred lads and the four bought in – the Next Nine are on the horizon and I am trying not to react as if an invasion force was spotted off-shore! Up to six will be AN x from the two resident Saanen and there will be the Saanen male kid and a pair of Saanen sister kids that will be travelling from Norfolk to join us – and then that is it for a few years we should be self-sustaining.
